Stage 1 of our profile to coloured PVC pellet begins by retrieving your old uPVC windows and doors. Our superb low emission vans will collect your old uPVC profiles and bring them to our factory to be transformed.
Upon arrival, the uPVC profiles are shredded down and the pieces are broken and sorted into a variety of sizes. We then go onto remove any metals and hardware still attached to the uPVC profile.
The size of the PVC is then further reduced into manageable pieces. These pieces are then separated into smaller pieces based on their colour to ensure that they are uniform and can be used for the next stage of the process.
The final stage of the recycling process is to compress the coloured pellets so that they are all of a consistent size. Our melting filtration system will then ensure that the pellets are smooth and ready for use.
Along with our VEKA recycling service, the compound sector of our company involves the collection of your old uPVC profiles. We use low-emissions diesel vehicles to collect and transport your old uPVC windows and doors in order to promote sustainability. Transforming profiles into a range of coloured pellets is easy when you choose VEKA.
We plan each route to collect your profiles carefully to produce as little carbon emissions as we possibly can. We will also do multiple pickups in a day to reduce the amount of fuel that we put into the atmosphere. Our aim is to transform the UK to contribute to a greener planet.
Our range of coloured PVC pellets come with the added benefit of an exceptional lifespan. Once your pellets have been manufactured into another uPVC product, the pellets can last an outstanding three decades before needing to be recycled again.
Although your PVC pellets require very little energy to develop, they last for a number of years. This means that there is less pressure to manufacture them as they can continue to be recycled over time. Once your products reach the end of their lifespan, send them back to us to reuse!
Coloured pellets can be made into a variety of home improvement products. From new windows and doors to decking and drainpipes, our pellets are incredibly versatile so you can be sure to find a requirement for your new recycled pellet.
We work closely within the window and door industry, however, our coloured pellets can be used in a number of different business sectors. Coloured pellets can be used throughout the UK and beyond. You can rely on us to deliver a durable material that you can use for a multitude of purposes.
