Uses for PVC Pellets

Here at VEKA Compounds, we provide eco-friendly pellets made of recycled PVC windows and doors. We aim to carry out a sustainable recycling process that minimises waste, reduces landfill and lowers CO2 emissions. Our PVC pellets are sold to the trade and can be used to make various home improvement products.

PVC can make high-quality products, such as windows and doors, can excel in thermal performance and durability. Your customers can benefit from a sustainable window that will provide long-term benefits that you can take advantage of. As our PVC is compressed, it does not compromise its practical abilities.

Our sister company, VEKA Recycling, offers free collection of tired PVC products and recycles them to produce premium PVC pellets. We then offer our pellets to fabricators across the UK to make eco-friendly PVC products. We have been recycling PVC since 2007 throughout Europe and then expanded to the UK.

Our Mission

We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible to produce PVC pellets that will be sustainable and provide many practical benefits. Each part of our recycling process is designed to reduce our levels of CO2 and pollution. From our low-emission vehicles to our advanced machinery, we ensure that we work to the highest standards.

Landfill is very expensive to manage and can be damaging to the economy. By choosing to recycle PVC, is a cheaper solution that does not compromise its performance. We want to change peoples perceptions of PVC and push the industry into becoming more sustainable. Due to the 350 year lifespan of PVC products, we can massively reduce the level of waste.

We want our customers to feel confident that they have chosen a company that will produce premium PVC pellets. We are one of 250,000 companies with the ISO 14001 certificate, a globally recognised environmental management accreditation. ISO 14001 certifies that companies are working to reduce pollution and improve the way they manage their resources.

So far, the VEKA Group has achieved:

  • – 3,000,000 tonnes of CO2 saved
  • – 25,000 PVC windows recycled
  • – 5000 refitted units

Recycled PVC Pellets Process

From beginning to end, each step in our recycling process is designed to limit the carbon footprint that we contribute to. We use low-emission vehicles that pick up multiple orders and use routes that use unnecessary roads. Our PVC collection service is free so that it is convenient for our UK customers.

Once the old PVC has reached our facility, the material is then scrapped and separated into size groups. These groups are easier to manage, and we then reduce any non-PVC materials. Our customers do not have to take out their handles and locks as we have the appropriate machinery for this.

Once the metal and hardware have been removed, we continue to remove any non-PVC materials and reduce them into size groups. The PVC is then sorted into colour groups to be made into the correct pellet products. Our process is very detailed so that we make pure and high-quality products.

Our PVC recycling process’s final step is to use our melt-filtration machine to turn the PVC into contamination-free pellets. We have years of experience in the industry and have perfected our recycling to produce premium products. Our advanced recycling and attention to detail set us apart from the competition.
